Nice being spotted in a bon appétit article about 18 things to eat, buy & do in Puerto Rico! Thanks to Matilsha of Concalma for being the first place in Old San Juan to give Cabo Cado a chance! LOVE Puerto Rico!
Old San Juan
Probably one of the most special places for me in Puerto Rico is Old San Juan. Rich in History, Natural Beauty, and just all around awesome. My favorite place to eat is there St. Germain http://www.stgermainpr.com/ My favorite dive restaurant / bar "was" there Maria's. Last year I got married there! That being the case, I am so happy to add to these lists of favorites Concalma! http://concalmalinea.com/ Shop owner / designer Matilsha Marxuach has one of the most incredible places in Old San Juan, and we are super excited to have found a home there. The shop offers handbags, t-shirts and other local goods that have a fun, fresh and fair trade approach. Many thanks to Matilsha for the opportunity and to mi esposa Claudia for helping to make all of this happen!!! Also, keep a look out for more good things in Puerto Rico in the coming weeks/months!
